Doncaster Rovers will play Wolves in a pre-season friendly at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The Championship club will visit on Saturday, August 1 (3pm) - the weekend before the new Football League season begins.

Kenny Jackett’s side flirted with the play-offs before finishing last season in seventh position.

Paul Dickov’s intention is to work his side hard in familiar surroundings during pre-season and following yesterday’s confirmation that Sunderland will visit the Keepmoat on July 29, Rovers’ pre-season is shaping up nicely.

Middlesbrough are also expected to face Doncaster in James Coppinger’s testimonial, while Rovers are understood to have lined up another Championship team to play at home.

Tickets for the Sunderland and Wolves games will be priced £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
