The wide man was withdrawn after 25 minutes with Ferguson explaining the club physio had concerns over a head injury.

"It was a problem and I didn't want him to have a concussion," Ferguson said.

"The physio said he looked shaky to be fair.

"The doctor will have to have a look at him now."

"I'll have to freshen things up but Tuesday is probably a good time to do that.

Ferguson explained he withdrew Luke McCullough at half time due to a concern he may have been sent off.

Joe Wright left the field with 16 minutes of the game remaining after suffering an ankle injury which is likely to keep him out of Tuesday's clash with Bury at the Keepmoat.

"Joe rolled his ankle," Ferguson said.

"Luke McCullough had been booked and I felt the game would open up and I was worried he might get a red.

"Wright will probably be out for Tuesday but Andy Butler is back and Andy does what Andy does."
