Ben Whiteman makes an immediate return to the Doncaster Rovers starting XI as they meet Accrington Stanley at the Wham Stadium.
Whiteman sat out Rovers’ win over Plymouth Argyle at the weekend as he served a one match suspension after collecting five yellow cards in the league.
But he has been immediately restored to the side in place of Jermaine Anderson, who drops to the bench. Alfie Beestin is the player to miss out in a largely unchanged matchday squad.
Rovers are on the hunt for a fifth consecutive win as they visit an Accrington side that has not lost since the opening day of the season.
Former Rovers Academy product Jonny Maxted has been named among the substitutes for Accrington.
Accrington: Ripley; Johnson, Hughes, Ihiekwe, Clark, Brown, McConville, Finley, Anderton, Barlaser, Kee. Subs: Maxted, Richards-Everton, Nolan, Zanzala, Hall, Sykes, Mingoia
Rovers: Marosi; Mason, Wright, Butler, Andrew; Blair, Whiteman, Kane; Wilks, Marquis, Coppinger. Subs: Lawlor, Amos, T Anderson, J Anderson, Crawford, Taylor, May.
Referee: Peter Wright.
