DONCASTER ROVERS: Duo sparkle as Rovers defeat Shakers

Have your say

GOALS from Kyle Bennett and Chris Brown helped Doncaster Rovers secure a come-from-behind 2-1 win against 10 man Bury at the Keepmoat Stadium last night.

It was Rovers first home win since January and kept them joint top of the embryonic League One table.

Kyle Bennett bagged his second goal in as many matches to cancel out Joe Skarz’s fifth-minute opener. The talented winger started his career at Bury.

Stephen Schumacher was sent off for two bookable offences after the break before Brown grabbed the winner six minutes from full-time.

Dean Saunders kept faith with the same side who thumped Walsall 3-0 on the opening day of the season, with the Rovers manager naming just five substitutes.
