“To be able to play our home games at this fantastic stadium until 2018 shows the ambition of the football club and of Club Doncaster.

“We are all delighted.”

Rovers chief executive Gavin Baldwin said: “Sport in Doncaster isn’t just about one team anymore, it is about one club. Club Doncaster.

“As far as any town or city goes, from one location I am sure we offer a wider club sporting portfolio than anyone else can and we are massively proud of that.

“Belles committing to another three years shows huge ambition that they want to grow with us, and with that same vision we can make the people of Doncaster proud again.”
