Director taking advice with search for new boss well underway
Applications began to flood into the Proact on Monday, shortly after Jack Lester departed by mutual consent.
Ian Evatt and Miguel Llera are in charge of first team affairs until the end of the season and led the club to a Derbyshire Senior Cup final win on Tuesday night, at the same time as relegation from League Two was mathematically confirmed.

The division the Spireites will find themselves in next season is to have a major say on the identity of the new manager, according to club director Ashley Carson.
He says the recruitment process needs to be rigorous, before Dave Allen makes a final decision on the man to lead Town into non-league football.
“The moment that it was announced that Jack had left we started getting applications coming in,” said Carson.
“I would say to date it’s probably about 15.

“We’ve got to discard things like that.
“All we’re doing is gathering applications.
“We’ll gather all the names this weekend and start next week with the interview process.”
Carson has made it clear that he alone won’t be in charge of the search.
The company secretary has come under fire from supporters for his involvement in the last two appointments, Gary Caldwell and Lester, who won three out of 29 and nine out of 37 matches respectively.

“Eventually going to make sure there’s a proper interview process going on and ultimately if myself and Dave Allen are still there it will be Dave’s decision.”
Carson says it’s crucial that the new boss knows how to build a squad fit for the National League.
“This time it needs a lot of careful thought.
“We’re in a division we don’t know anything about and we need someone who knows a lot about the division.
“Someone not only with experience of the league but also players as well, it’s a different kind of player we need in there.
“We very much have to change the profile of the current team we’ve got.”
