Cook to miss out on Novak?
Charlton's interest in Lee Novak appears to have coincided with a decline in Paul Cook's chances of signing him.
Cook had made Novak his number one target this summer, but Charlton appear to be the current favourites to secure his services.
Novak scored 15 goals for Chesterfield on loan from Birmingham last season and made it clear he was open to a permanent move to the Proact, but the Spireites don’t appear to be pursuing a deal.
