The 27-year-old has joined The Coasters on loan from The Millers until the end of the season and is likely to feature against Town at the Proact on Saturday.

The forward has been on loan at League Two Scunthorpe United since August but only managed one goal in 14 appearances, although he made just four league starts.

“Over the past two years I’ve had a few personal problems and off-field injuries which have hampered my progress,” Proctor told AFC Fylde’s website.

“I’ve been on loan at Scunthorpe as I’ve wanted to get out and play games, but that didn’t happen, which is no fault of anyone’s just circumstance and bad fortune.”

Jim Bentley’s side are one place and three points behind Chesterfield but have two games in hand ahead of this weekend’s clash.
