Chesterfield striker Lee Shaw scores hat-trick for loan club Guiseley AFC

The forward bagged a treble against AFC Goole in the West Riding County Cup.

Shaw, 26, who is on a season loan at the Vanarama National League North side, opened his account midway through the first-half and added another five minutes after half-time before completing his hat-trick in the 89th minute in a 5-2 away win.

Martin Allen brought him to the Proact on a two-year deal from Grantham in July 2018 but he struggled for goals and was sometimes used as a winger or wing-back.

Former Spireites boss John Sheridan sent him out on loan to Guiseley at the start of this season.

There was a suggestion earlier in the campaign that he could be recalled by the Blues but he dislocated his shoulder in October.

Shaw is out of contract at the end of this season.
