Chesterfield sign Jamal Campbell-Ryce on loan from Sheffield United

Chesterfield have re-signed experienced winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce, who has arrived on loan from Sheffield United until the end of the season.

Campbell-Ryce made 14 appearances for the Spireites in 2004, while on loan from Charlton Athletic.

He has since played for various clubs including Rotherham United, Barnsley and Bristol City.

The 32-year-old, who joined Sheffield United in the summer of 2014 after leaving Notts County, has made 21 appearances this season.

Campbell-Ryce is eligible to play in today’s game at Scunthorpe United.

After 28 days, the Blades will be able to recall the player at 24 hours’ notice.
