Chesterfield Ladies secure midtable finish despite early season struggles

Chesterfield Ladies secured a midtable finish with back to back victories, writes player Leoni Everley.

At the start of the season the first team struggled to put together a winning streak.

However a few games in, something clicked.

Throughout the season the first team have had great games against the top of the table Sheffield United Reserves, coming close to a win.

To say at the end of last season Chesterfield were struggling to field a team, finishing midtable is a success and there is belief that Chesterfield will get promoted next season .

With the help of the Community Trust, Chesterfield now have 25 players.
