Chesterfield will say thank you to the 56 Spireites who travelled to last night’s Checkatrade Trophy victory at Rochdale, with free tickets.
The supporters who made the trip will be able to watch the next tie in the competition played at the Proact free of charge.
Chief executive Chris Turner said the club wanted to express gratitude to the commitment of the 56.
“We wanted to reward those fans who turned out to support the team on a cold and wet Tuesday night,” he said.
“We really do appreciate the level of commitment shown by supporters and we thought this would be a suitable gesture.”
Town fans who went to the Rochdale tie should retain their ticket stub and present it at the Ticket Office to get their free ticket, before the next home Checkatrade Trophy game.
