CHESTERFIELD boss John Sheridan was disappointed with elements of the 1-0 win over Bury.
Overseeing a third straight clean sheet for the first time as Chesterfield manager he said: “The result is the most important thing. Our performance wasn’t bad, we got the goal but then did one or two things that really annoyed me. We started to lose our shape trying to get a second goal. I’ve got experienced players on the pitch but we’re running around and doing opposite to what we had been doing.
“We should do what we’d been doing and win the game 1-0, grind it out, we should have never been in danger. But we started chasing, doing the wrong things and could have ended up drawing when we were never in danger.”
