CHESTERFIELD’S weekend visitors, Yeovil Town, are like the hosts, in a position they’d rather not be in.
The Glovers are without a win in nine and sit bottom of League One, but are just a single point behind John Sheridan’s men.
Boss Terry Skiverton remains hopeful of a revival in fortunes. He said: “I definitely can see us starting a good run. It’s going to come sooner rather than later and I need to make sure we’re ready for it. One thing that’s really got me going, and made me feel quite emotional, is the support.”
He added: “We’re trying to give them as much as we can, and they appreciate it. That’s really given me that energy and that boost to keep fighting for this football club.”
Sheridan too will be looking for a response after the weekend loss at Brentford. It looks certain that he’ll abandon the 4-5-1 formation used in the last two away games.
