Spireites, unbeaten in their pre-season build up, face another stiff test at the B2net tomorrow.

Nigel Pearson’s Hull City, 3-0 victors against a strong Liverpool side last weekend, follow on from Coventry City’s 2-2 midweek trip.

Goalscorer Dean Morgan can’t wait to get back on the field.

He said: “We’re all looking forward to it but hopefully there will be a few more there than there was against Coventry, it felt more like a reserves game.

“Hull are on a bit of a run, they beat Liverpool the other day but they may come here thinking ‘it’s only Chesterfield’ and we end up beating them, but you never know. It’s not about the result at this stage, but we want to win every game.”

Striker Jack Lester, out with a virus against the Sky Blues, should be back for the home side whilst trialist Rohan Ricketts is expected to be given another run out.

Tigers star Jimmy Bullard looks unlikely to feature.

The 32 year old midfielder, reputed to be earning £45,000 a week, has been suspended by the club ‘pending an inquiry into recent events.’

However the likes of Matty Fryatt, Nicky Barmby, Kevin Kilbane, Aaron McLean and Dele Adebola are all expected to feature.
