Reece Mitchell plans to become a more selfish player next season.
The Chesterfield winger scored the second goal of his first campaign in men’s football on Saturday at the Proact.
Next season he says he’s out to improve his tally.
“I think I’ve been happy to try and provide more this season than score myself,” he said.
“But next season I’ve got to push to become a real threat going forward.”
The 21-year-old insists he’s enjoyed his season, despite the relegated club’s struggles.
“Apart from the results, it’s been a great experience for me,” he said. “I’ve only played Under 23s football before.
“It’s been ups and downs but I’ve had good game time and got a couple of goals so it’s positive.”
