Midfielder signs 18 month deal to become a permanent Chesterfield player
One of Chesterfield's loan players has made his arrangement with the Spireites permanent.
Midfield Jonathan Smith, who has scored in each of his last three games, put pen to paper today on an 18-month deal.
He was on loan until January from League Two Stevenage, before all the parties concerned agreed to make it a permanent move.
