The first ever Chesterfield FC online matchday programme will be available free of charge as a thank you from Tommy Lee.
Just days away from his testimonial match at the Proact against Wigan Athletic, the committee putting a series of events together have announced their historic creation.
A spokesperson for the committee told the Derbyshire Times: “Not everything is about making money.
“Tommy has been so thrilled with the response from supporters that the committee have produced the first ever Chesterfield FC online programme as a thank you to every Chesterfield fan for the loyal support over his 10 years at the club.
“The programme will be available, free to view, pre and post-match and details on how to access it will be released early next week.”
There may be no charge for the programme, but the committee are encouraging fans to support Spireites boss Martin Allen’s wife Lisa and donate to Cancer Research.
That’s the charity being promoted at Wednesday’s game against the Tics.
Lisa is set for the Club to Pub swim later today – a 1.5k swim from Henley Rowing Club to the Angel on the Bridge, in aid of the cancer charity.
Generous Town supporters have already helped Lisa raise over £1,800 with online donations.
