Chesterfield captain Ian Evatt says it’ll be a special moment when he leads the team out at Wembley in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final.

The Spireites defender has been there three times before - winning twice with Blackpool - and will be hoping for a third success next month.

Paul Cook’s Chesterfield side booked their place in the final after they saw off Fleetwood Town 3-2 on aggregate in the northern area final.

The concluding chapter of a two-legged tie came on Tuesday night.Spireites lost 1-0 when Jon Parkin scored in the 90th minute.

But Chesterfield, backed by 6,000 inside the Proact Stadium, held on to ensure a Wembley date with southern area final winners Peterborough.
