Chesterfield face an anxious wait to see if any further action will be taken against manager Paul Cook.
He was sent to the stand by Northumberland referee Richard Clark during Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Dagenham following remarks to the official.
Cook spent the second half in the main stand and, depending on the contents of the referee’s report, the Spireites’ boss will wait to see if the FA take any further action.
However, he will be back on the touchline for tomorrow’s bottom v top clash at Sixfields Stadium against Northampton Town who recently sacked manager Aidy Boothroyd.
Definitely missing will be defender Kevin Hird.
He will serve a one-match ban for his sending off against Dagenham for denying a goalscoring opportunity. Liam Cooper will slot in alongside Ian Evatt.
Northampton, who drew 0-0 at Portsmouth on Sunday, have assistant manager Andy King as caretaker charge and say they want to make an appointment very soon.
