Chesterfield are in need of a head of recruitment according to first team boss Jack Lester.
The manager believes Paul Mitchell’s departure two years ago left a big hole at the club and it’s something they should address.
“I think structurally at the club there could be one or two little alterations that would help,” he said.
“We’ve not replaced anybody in recruitment yet.
“When Mitch was here out getting players, he was a big loss to the club and I think that needs replacing.
“I think it would be something we’d be looking to bring in, Guy was doing that when I came in and he’s not here now.
