Nottingham Forest continue to be linked with a move for Iranian international forward Karim Ansarifard.

Forest manager Aitor Karanka has said the club will remain patient in their pursuit of the 28-year-old, who left Olympiakos after his contract was cancelled.

Former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Sean Clare, who was linked with moves to Championship clubs including Aston Villa and Leeds United, officially joined SPL side Hearts over the weekend.

The 21-year-old turned down a new contract at Hillsborough and became a free agent in the summer, but as he is under 23 the Owls could receive up to £130,000 in compensation.
