Caldwell confirms '˜big player' Hird's automatic contract extension
Gary Caldwell has welcomed the triggering of an automatic extension clause in Sam Hird's contract.
The defender’s contract was automatically extended to the summer of 2018 when he passed a required number of appearances in recent weeks.
