Earlier in the day clubs from across the EFL had agreed to back the organising body’s proposal for how to decide the outcome of the season should no further regular season matches be played.

This included placings being decided on a points per game calculation with automatic promotion, relegation and a four-team play-off campaign taking place in each division as normal.

Once clubs voted to curtail the season, it ensured the Millers would finish second in League One and be promoted alongside champions Coventry City.

Tranmere Rovers, Southend United and Bolton Wanderers are relegated to League Two.

Wycombe Wanderers, Oxford United, Portsmouth and Fleetwood Town will contest the play-offs for the final promotion place.

Doncaster Rovers finished ninth in the standings.
