BREAKING: New signing starts for Spireites, striker returns and Hird plays

Chesterfield have a new signing in the starting XI today for the visit of Bury.

Goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann, a free agent who was most recently with Partick Thistle, starts in goal having signed for Gary Caldwell’s Spireites.

Ryan Fulton is presumably still suffering the effects of a virus that has kept him out of the last two games, Lloyd Allinson named on the bench as substitute goalkeeper.

Sam Hird starts in defence after speculation over his future, the centre-half reportedly just two appearances away from triggering a new deal.

And Sylvan Ebanks-Blake gets his first league start of the season in a three-man attack, alongside loanee David Faupala and Kristian Dennis.

Dan Jones also comes back into the side, Dion Donohue and Jon Nolan out injured.

Bury’s top goalscorer James Vaughan is a big miss for the visitors, having scored 18 this season.
