Boss lauds goalkeeping department's meticulous preparation for penalties
Gary Caldwell says meticulous preparation has helped Thorsten Stuckmann save three out of the four penalties he's faced as a Spireite.
“He’s magnificent and Dukey the goalie coach takes credit for the detail they go into, analysing previous penalties and being ready – that’s the level of professionalism we need,” said the Scot.
“Stucky been fantastic since he came to the club.”
German stopper Stuckmann has faced 16 spot-kicks since he arrived in the UK in 2011, saving half of them.
He signed for the Spireites after a two-week trial period at the start of the year, following his release by Partick Thistle.
The 36-year-old has said he has no intention of retiring this summer and hopes to continue his stay at the Proact.
