Gerry Sheldon (21-8) put Brodsworth in front in their Dvision Two clash. but wins from Lol Atkinson (21-6), John Hayward (21-4) and Ken Welford (21-5) won the game (139-116) for Carcroft.

Pilkingtons had good wins from John Armstrong (21-4) and Charlie Wootton (21-7) to beat Parklands 150-109.

Eddie Monaghan (21-5) was unable to save Scawthorpe from a 144-133 defeat at Eden Grove-Pegler B.
