Hallam begin life without top scorer Liam Morris with a home clash against Hemsworth Miners Welfare.

Morris, whose 16 goals have been instrumental in the Blues rise up the league, has joined Division One rivals Worksop Parramore.

It is a major blow to Hallam’s hopes of a top six finish. Much will now rest on the shoulders of Aaron Moxam to get the goals to help maintain their push up the table.

The striker has been in fine form since returning to the club from Shirebrook Town in November, notching eight goals.

Hallam have won their last three matches on the spin.

Dinnington Town go to Teversal as the division’s form team with six wins and a draw from the last seven league outings. The hosts thrashed bottom of the table Appleby Frodingham 8-2 last week but will find Dinnington side a totally different proposition with Steve Toyne’s men in the mood to avenge a 4-1 defeat at Phoenix Park earlier in the campaign.

Handsworth will go in search of a sixth successive win at Bottesford Town that would see them narrow the gap to three points on leaders Pontefract Collieries, who have a blank weekend. Bottesford have managed just one win in the last six at home and lost 3-0 when the teams met in the reverse fixture at Olivers Mount.

Worsbrough Bridge Athletic travel to promotion hopefuls Albion Sports looking to bounce back from their 4-2 League Cup extra-time defeat against Barton Town Old Boys on Tuesday.

Struggling Askern Villa stage their first home game since vandals burned down their hospitality suite last month. Villa are aiming to end a 12-match winless streak in all competitions at the expense of visitors AFC Emley.

Rossington Main can cement their place in the top six with a win over Yorkshire Amateur at Oxford Street, where Steve Lodge’s side will look to make up for a 5-2 defeat at Bracken Edge in November.

Parkgate go into their clash against a resurgent Pickering Town at Green Lane looking to make it seven home wins on the spin.

Armthorpe Welfare entertain title chasing Retford United, who will be eager to get back to winning ways after last week’s 4-0 defeat at Brighouse Town.
