The Reds produced their best performance of the season on Saturday as they beat QPR 5-3 at Oakwell to further enhance their survival chances in the Championship.

It was their seventh point from four games, which has seen them cut the gap to safety to just four points.

There is suddenly belief around the club that they can make a fist of the battle to beat the drop.

“My players had the winning DNA which is what we need for our big challenge to stay in the league,” Struber said. “I saw the mentality that was not like a relegation team. It’s always good when we win, for our self-confidence and our faith.”
