Up front and personal for O’Grady

Chris O’Grady has taken it personally that Barnsley have struggled this season.

And more so because the striker feels as though he has “let down” under-fire boss David Flitcroft.

The Reds are at the foot of table ahead of Saturday’s daunting away clash with Queens Park Rangers, opponents they have not beaten at Loftus Road in their 22 visits.

In fact the Reds last win at Loftus Road was nearly 63 years ago having struggled badly form in West London, with 19 of those last 22 trips having resulted in defeats in the capital.

“I definitely take it personally and feel I’ve let the manager down when things aren’t going well,” admitted O’Grady.
