BARNSLEY defender Bobby Hassell believes the club need to sign two more strikers before the start of next season.
New Reds boss Keith Hill has wasted no time in signing seven new players at Oakwell since he took over the managerial reigns.
But Craig Davies is the only recognised striker Hill has signed so far.
A potential deal for former Manchester City striker Kelvin Etuhu is ongoing. Andy Gray, Danny Haynes and youngster Danny Rose are the other Oakwell strikers, but Hassell would like more strength in depth.
“We’ve only got three established strikers, so I reckon we need at least two more,” Hassell said.
“There’s probably not a great deal of strikers about at the moment, but hopefully the gaffer can work some magic and get a bargain in.
“Craig Davies is jumping up two divisions so he’s probably going to need time to find his feet, as will the other new players. But I definitely think we need to strengthen up front - and I’m sure the manager’s looking at doing that.”
