Barnsley shot-stopper Luke Steele celebrated his 29th birthday on Tuesday and must have thought he was back to where he belongs - between the posts for the club’s first team.

The former Manchester United ace was dropped for 41-year-old Wigan Athletic loanee Mike Pollitt a few games ago, having shipped a hatful of goals in the team’s poor start to the new season.
