MARK Robins wants his Barnsley side to be the pride of South Yorkshire.

Robins knows a victory tomorrow against local rivals Sheffield United could condemn the Blades to relegation - and at the same time make the Reds the most successful club in South Yorkshire.

Doncaster Rovers are not yet safe from the drop and Sheffield Wednesday have failed to hit the heights in League One.

“That [being the best team in South Yorkshire], would be a big positive,” Robins told The Star. “But it’s all about developing a team at the club so we can improving for the future.”
