BARNSLEY revealed yesterday that season-ticket prices are to rise for the 2011-12 campaign.

But while prices have risen roughly between £15 and 20 depending on which stand you sit in at Oakwell, existing holders renewing their tickets will benefit from a £15 discount on the prices charged to new holders.

The cheapest season ticket, with a seat in the CK Beckett Stand, starts at £315, an increase of £16 on last season’s prices. New season tickets for that stand would cost £330, but at the £315 price it works out at an average cost of £13.70 per game.

The most expensive ticket is in the East Stand Upper at £385. This is a rise of £20 from last year’s prices, although a new holder in that stand would have to pay £400.
