BARNSLEY boss Keith Hill does not want to sign former Reds striker Rory Fallon.

Hill told The Star: “I’m definitely not interested in him, he’s not even on our radar.

“He’s a good player, but he’s not someone we’re interesting in signing. I don’t know where that rumour has come from.”

New Zealand international Fallon, 29, started his career with the Reds back in 1999 and made 52 appearances, scoring 13 goals through to 2003.

The 6ft 2in striker is currently a free agent after his last contract expired with Plymouth Argyle.

Last season, he spent four games on loan at Ipswich Town, has had loan spells with Shrewsbury Town and Yeovil Town, as well as having played for Swindon Town (77 appearances) and Swansea City (44 appearances).
