Barnsley have secured the services of Liverpool winger Ryan Kent on a season long loan deal.
The Reds benefitted from the loan system last year as they were promoted from League One - with Lloyd Isgrove, Ashley Fletcher and Aidy White playing significant roles in the club's double success.
And they have gone there again with the addition of Kent, Paul Heckingbottom's eighth new signing of the summer.
The England under-20 international impressed during a spell at Coventry last term with Jurgen Klopp recalling him in January.
The Liverpool youngster is looking forward to his time at Oakwell, and said: "I am really looking forward to what the season holds for me.
"I have spoken to Paul quite a lot over the last few weeks about how I am going to fit into the team and how we are looking to play this season."
