BARNSLEY winger Jim O’Brien is fired up for today’s derby clash with Leeds United at Elland Road.
And the confident Scot believes the arrival of new manager Danny Wilson has given the relegation-struggling Reds the confidence boost they needed to turn around their faltering season.
“Since I’ve been here, we seem to do okay against Leeds,” said O’Brien.
“It’s a game we enjoy and one the fans are really up for. Everybody enjoys playing Leeds, nobody seems to like them. And with the new manager coming in I am sure everybody will be behind us.
“But we’re under no illusions, Elland Road is a tough place to go but the gaffer coming in will give us a lift.”
