Barnsley have today swooped to sign winger Dale Jennings on a three-year deal following his release from German giants Bayern Munich, writes Tom Bestwick.

Jennings rose to prominence while playing at Tranmere Rovers during the 2010/11 season in which he earned the Football League One Apprentice of the Year award before making the move to the Allianz Arena.
“I spoke to the manager and the assistant manager and they outlined the plans they had for me and I felt Barnsley was the right club to take me further.” Jennings said.
