Barnsley skipper Stephen Dawson has called for the Reds to hit the ground running this weekend ahead of three tough games in the space of ten days.
The Reds take on high-fliers Nottingham Forest at the City Ground this afternoon followed by fixtures with Bournemouth and Watford next Tuesday and Saturday respectively.
“The pressure is on every game, but hopefully we can gradually keep moving up the table,” said Dawson. “It’s an honour to be captain of this team, it’s what dreams are made of to be honest.
“I’ve just tried to lead from the front and help wherever I can. The competition is great in the squad, there’s been no back-stabbing when people aren’t playing.”
Marcus Pedersen is missing with a foot injury.
