Vulcan J's 10-0 win over Abbeydale B, followed three days later by a 6-4 nail biter over third placed Cable, enabled the Attercliffe-based club to leap above Farm Road B and snatch the division two championship by a solitary point.

Father and son duo Dave (6/6) and Steven Wild (5/6) were the architects of the triumph with Brian Allen (4/6) lending solid support.
