Elsecar secure their 15th title success
They had a four-wicket win over Shiregreen and this, coupled with Hallam's defeat at Whitley Hall, gave them an unassailable lead at the top with one match still to play.
Shiregreen were dismissed for 173, Mehfooz Khan making a brave 74 and the wickets were shared betwen Gareth Dawson and Lesroy Weekes.

Hide AdIt was not all plain sailing but Elsecar got home at 175-6, Dawson making 45 no.
They now look forward to a possible double - they are involved in the Yorkshire Council Championship play-off final on Sunday when they face Central Yorkshire League’s Wrenthorpe who beat Hallam by 52 runs at Sandygate.
Hallam did well to dismiss the strong Wrenthorpe line-up for 167 but they were then dismissed for 115.
Elsecar and Wrenthorpe meet in final at Treeton next Sunday.

Hide AdHallam, long-time Premier leaders, knew they could not afford defeat at Whitley Hall and the six wicket defeat meant their title hopes had gone.
They made 153-9 (Koch 5-40), Whitley’s 156-4 reply was led by Jason Booth’s 50.
Either side could finish in runners-up spot with Whitley away to Doncaster Town and Hallam facing Elsecar on the final day.
