Doncaster Knights sign Wigglesworth and Sproston
The 22-year-old, who also has a background in rugby league, becomes the latest addition to Clive Griffiths’ new-look back division.
Wigglesworth found his opportunities limited at Goldington Road, sitting behind the Blues’ all-time leading point scorer and Canadian international full back James Pritchard in the pecking order.

“I am really looking forward to joining the Knights this season, moving back to Yorkshire is a little like coming home for me,” said Wigglesworth, originally from Derbyshire.
“From what I know about Doncaster it seems like a great family club which is really important to me.
“I’ve always admired Castle Park, it is a great place to play rugby and it’s a good feeling to be able to call it home.”

Hide Adn Prop Joe Sproston, 23, has joined Doncaster Knights from National Two North champions Ampthill.
“He’s a big unit of a man but very mobile and difficult to stop,” said Griffiths.
“He’s a bit of a wildcard and probably needs a full time environment to realise his full potential.”
