The Giro d’Italia restarts today after yesterday’s first rest day with a 167 kilometre stage from Cordenons to Altopiano del Montasio.

Britain’s Bradley Wiggins is 76 seconds off the lead after the first nine stages with Italy’s Vincenzo Nibali and the 2012 Tour de France winner Cadel Evans of Australia battling it out for the leader’s maglia rosa.

Nibali is 29 seconds ahead of Evans with Wiggins a second behind Holland’s Robert Gesink in third.
