DONCASTER Town coasted to a nine-wicket Doncaster Evening Infirmary Cricket League Division One win over visiting Peglers.
Batting first, Peglers made 79-9 with Matt Smethurst (25) and Steve Dinnage (26) sharing out the honours.
Nick Cowan (2-14), Brad Heaps (2-14), Rhys Mann (2-16) and Aiden Hall (2-17) shared out the wickets to fall. Alex Gosney (44) and Jonathan Redfearn (30 not out) saw Town (84-1) home in style.
Barnby Dun posted a 56-run Division Two win at Fenwick. Scott Walker (42) and Mark Wilkinson (29) led the way in Dun’s 135-8. Jeff Morton bagged 3-27.
Morton (40) was also the mainstay of Fenwick’s reply of 79 all out. Mark Nurse took 4-16.
Brodsworth took no prisoners when beating Hatfield Open by 88 runs. Scott Hibbett (84) was the star of the visitor’s knock of 162-5, with Will Drury (28) and Richard Miller (21) both lending support.
Tahir (2-12) and Hussain (2-28) shared four of the wickets to fall. Tahir (20) top-scored in Hatfield’s reply of 74 all out. Burns (3-8) and Warren (2-13) were the pick of the Brodsworth bowlers.
Yorkshire Main stormed to a ten-wicket win over visiting Adwick-le-Street.
Lugg (70 not out) and Lumley (31 not out) steered Main to a match-winning 124-0. Adwick had earlier made 123-5 with Luke Bishop hitting an unbeaten 63. Tom Machin bagged 3-20.
Marr posted a 14-run Division Three win at Parklands. Batting first, Marr made 139 with Lee Angel (46), Ady Coates (39) and Ray Abbassi (31) providing the bulk of the runs.
Reg Strawbridge took 2-4. Graham Langford (30) and Craig Taylor (25) both caught the eye for Parklands in their 125 all out.
