ROSSINGTON and Peglers will contest this season’s Doncaster Evening Infirmary League’s Senior Cup final.
Rossington booked their place in the final with an eight-wicket win at Fenwick.
Carrick (15) top-scored in Fenwick’s 84-8. Andrew Gardiner bagged 3-23 in four overs.
An unbeaten 58 by Pete Harvey was the highlight of Rossington’s reply of 86-2 in 9.2 overs.
Peglers beat Hatfield Nomads by 54 runs. Peglers made 174-4 with Steve Dinnage (45) top-scoring and Gulrez Rehman and Matt Smethurst both lending good support. Stuart McPhee (2-20) was the pick of the Nomads’ bowlers.
Ian Joyce (46) and Andy Cutts (39) were the mainstays of Nomads’ reply of 120-5. Ash Langdale took (2-22) and Tom Hyde (1-12).
Barnby Dun and Yorkshire Main will do battle in the Supplementary Cup final.
Barnby Dun beat Marr by five wickets. Marr’s 102-7 owed much to 48 by Alwyn Dyke. Lewis McMahon (3-10) was best of Dun’s bowlers.
McMahon (36) also starred with the bat in Barnby Dun’s reply. Scott Rich weighed in with a supporting knock of 18
Yorkshire Main won away at Bentley Colliery in the other semi-final.
