BARNBY Dun’s losing run in Division Two of the Pontefract and District League continued at leaders South Kirkby.

Phil Decent (58) and Jay Horne (3-41) were Barnby’s best performers in a three-wicket defeat.

Hatfield were bowled out for 132 in a 10-wicket loss against Hooton Pagnell.

Thorne Colliery’s Division Three promotion challenge ended with a seven-wicket defeat against Darton.

Robin Stewart (37) and his son James (31) top-scored in Thorne’s 116-9 which Darton comfortably overhauled.

Bottom side Sykehouse lost at leaders Knottingley.

Peter Sanders (4-37) limited Knottingley to 218-7 but Sykehouse managed only 101 in reply.

Craig Pattison’s 83 was in vain for Division Six promotion-chasers Hatfield A in a 54-run defeat at Hooton Pagnell A.

Fenwick’s Dale Carrick (5-15) routed Division Seven rivals Pledwick A for 80.

Stuart Carrick hit 45 as Fenwick coasted to a nine-wicket win in reply.

In Division Eight, Bentley A lost by two wickets to Normanton A and Sykehouse A were routed for 56 in a 61-run defeat against Garforth A.
