DONCASTER Town slumped to a 63-run defeat at Kexborough in their opening Barnsley & District Cricket League Division One clash on Sunday.

Replying to the home team’s 218-7 (Curtis Free 4-37), Town (Amit Kundra 72) were bowled out for 155. Conisbrough, for whom Craig Jackson took 3-85 in Thorncliffe’s 288-6, were all out for 182 in reply - Scott Harris 79, Craig Jackson 33. Alex Meadows hit a top-score 74 as Sprotbrough were bundled out for 98 at home to Division Two rivals Monk Bretton, who had earlier made 220-6. Fishlake romped to a resounding 106-run win over visiting Harley. An unbeaten 115 by Josh Mason laid the foundations for Fishlake’s 233-4. Andy Shelton 3-10, Josh Denby 3-41 did the damage with the ball as the home side were bowled out for 125. Rossington 212 all out (Thomas Green 34, Sam Roby 32, Michael Richardson 31, Scott Wood 30) beat Warmsworth 141 all out. Joe Dodd took 6-24.
