A host of former test stars, including Darren Gough, Adam Gilchrist and Jason Gillespie will feature in Glenn McGrath’s All-Star side in a charity game against a Derbyshire XI at Queen’s Park on Monday.
The Chesterfield Turns Pink T20 match, part of the town’s Cricket Festival Week, is in aid of three charities including the McGrath Foundation which the great Aussie bowler set up after his wife died of breast cancer. Breast Cancer Care and Cricket Derbyshire Community Foundation also benefit.
“It promises to be a great night with all proceeds going to great causes,” said McGrath, over here commentating on the Test series and whose initiative has sees 84 McGrath Breast care nurses working across Australia with plans for 150.. The start is at 6pm.
