The game, at the club’s Clifton Lane ground, will feature a host of the town’s most famous sporting stars including John Breckin, Ronnie Moore, Billy Mercer, Ian Breckin, Andy Warrington and players from the Rotherham Titans.

World Cup final referee Howard Webb will also take part as will former world champion boxer Johnny Nelson and current heavyweight Richard Towers.

Admission is free for the all day event, which starts at 11am.

As well as the match there will be activities such as a bouncey castle, face painting and a BBQ.

All proceeds from the day will go to the hospice.
