CONISBROUGH remain in serous relegation trouble in Division One of the Barnsley & District League following their 89-run defeat at Elsecar.
Replying to their hosts 290-5 (Nathan Musselwhite 108), the Doncaster side were 201 all out (Scott Harris 69, Callum Fuller 51, and Michael Blakemore 32).
Third-placed Doncaster were unable to raise a side for their game against Bradfield Fellowship.
Botttom club Barnby Dun (132 all out) suffered a three-wicket Division Two defeat at home to third-placed Kilnhurst.
Second-placed Brodsworth had to settle for a four-point winning draw at mid-table Hoylandswaine.
Alec Elliott (100) was the star of their 166-3. Hoylandswaine made 164-8.
Matthew Haywood (103 not out) and Pete Mawdsley (57 not out) secured Division Three title challengers Rossington Main (171-1) a five point win at mid-table Stocksbridge, The Sheffield side had earlier made 169-9. Scott Wood bagged 4-37).
Tickhill also retained their interest in the title with a four-point draw at home to Harley.
Batting first, Tickhill made 221-5 with Dave Spencer 103 not out and Steve Willerbley 93, providing the bulk of the runs.
Tickhill’s Jimmy Johnson took 4-18 in Harley’s reply of 172-8.
